Sculpture of Dragon
Commissioned work
A sculpture of a mythical Dragon was wanted for a
Christmas present. After many design meetings, the sculpture
made within 3 weeks using a wide range of materials.

`Star Wars` Themed Float
at
British Steel
Working within a team of sculptors, welders and joiners, We had to create a float
using expanded polystyrene sheets clad onto a metal and wooden frame.
A DeathStar, At At Walker, Pod Bay, Snowspeeder and a Large Darth Vaders Mask.
positioned on a 50ft flat-bed truck.

Mermaid and Merman Sculpture - Sunderland Marina Exhibit at
Earls Court Boat Show (London)
Worked within a team of 3 designing and sculpting a life-size Mermaid
that was used to promote and enhance a Stand for Sunderland Marina at
the Southampton Boat Show. The Mermaid Sculpture was revamped
adding more rocks to the size of 8ft square and a merman (Neptune) was
added. This was reallocated to the Earls Court Boat Show for the
beginning of 1997 show.

Themed Bedroom walls based on famous cartoon characters
A large bedroom wall was painted on the theme of famous cartoon
characters. We were also commissioned to do a smaller bedroom wall
based also on famous cartoon characters.

Witches Chair PROP for Sleeping Beauty-Middlesbrough Little Theatre
(Middlesbrough)
Worked within a team of 2 to design and sculpt with materials that you
would not be able to distinguish what the original materials that were
used. This was to create a Witches Chair for a production of `Sleeping
Beauty` at the Little Theatre in Middlesbrough.

Molly Malone Window Display - Molly Malones Fisheries (Hartlepool)
Worked within a team of 2 designing and building a Life size Figurine
with Cart and Painted scenery, for a busy local Fresh Fish shop in a
Shopping Centre. This also included painting a stone archway to frame
the whole display.

Mermaid Sculpture - Sunderland Marina Exhibit at
Southampton Boat Show
Worked within a team of 3 designing and sculpting a life-size Mermaid
that was used to promote and enhance a Stand for Sunderland Marina at
the Southampton Boat Show.
December 95
Pterosaur Exhibition-Hancock Museum (Newcastle)
Designed and built a childs interactive / educational game that would be
displayed with exhibits at the Hancock Museum.
The game entitled the child to fly a model pterosaur over a textured
landscape on a large rolling drum that was turned with a handle on the
side. This was all housed within an illustrated wooden box.
We also installed some scenes, using foliage, Painting backdrops and
creating rockeries.

Santas Grotto set - Binns Department Store (Middlesbrough)
Designed and built within a team of 2 a `Jack in a Box` Prop, that the
visiting children could sit on, as part of a set for a Santa`s Grotto to be
shown in a Department Store.

Teaching Computing , Art & Kitchen Helper - Camp America
(Newton,New Jersey)
Travelled to America for 3 months to gain experience and work within a
team environment with children. Teaching Computer programming and
graphics on Apple
Macintosh systems and Art , such as Puppets, masks, make-up, painting
and sculpting.

Computer Programmer for a Steel Works Company (Rotherham)
Programmed Rolling Mill Data Entry & Retrieve System in (Basic). Was given a 2 week
Deadline to have the system up and running with no Bugs or Faults. I was within the Deadline
by 2 days.

Doctors Surgery Illuminated "Next Patient" Reception Box
I was asked to design and make an electronic 240v illuminated box, to tell the receptionist
that any of the 5 Doctors was free for the next patient to enter. I was given 1 month to
complete the job, before the Doctors Surgery re-opened.

Worked within a team of 4 in an Industrial Stores, Making kits for sub-
assembly production line of Quarry crushers and screens.

"Fairytale" Themed Plaques
Themed on Fairytale stories, Sculpted with Newplast and cast in
Fine casting Plaster. To be used for an exhibition at Christmas 1998 in
Lees, Town Library, Oldham.

Self Taught - House Renovation
After finishing College , I have moved to Oldham.
We`ve redesigned most of the house, as well as many walls taken out, a complete kitchen suite installed
with window. another 5 windows around the house. floors have been raised and insulated and the
kitchen/bathroom ceilings have been lowered and insulated.
Landscaped a 80ft-30ft clay railtrack embankment to being an ampitheatre leading to 2 ponds, flower beds
and a walk-through that leads to a small but tidy lawn.
